How we handle your information

This notice explains what personal information Electro-Technical Ltd collects through this website and when you contact us, why we collect it, and your rights. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Electro-Technical Ltd is the data controller. We are registered in England & Wales, company no. 11750370. Our registered office is 48 Charfield Road, Bristol, BS10 5QR.

What we collect and why

We do not use your information for marketing mailing lists, and we never sell it.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers, who handle data only on our instructions:
- Microsoft 365 — our email system, where enquiries are received and stored.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) — delivers messages from the enquiry form to our inbox.
- Google reCAPTCHA — checks that form submissions come from a person, not a bot. It collects information about your browser and interaction with the page and sends it to Google. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
- Google Fonts — supplies the typefaces used on this site, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google.
- GoDaddy — hosts this website. Like any web host, its servers record basic request logs.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
Cookies
We do not set any cookies of our own. Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies that are strictly necessary for its security function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add website analytics in future, we will update this notice first.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. If we go on to work together, we keep project correspondence for as long as needed for the work and for our legal and accounting obligations, typically six years after the project ends.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is inaccurate;
- delete your information, or restrict how we use it;
- stop using it where we rely on legitimate interests, unless we have a compelling reason to continue.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
